課程概述 |
本課旨在討論廿世紀前西方戲劇的理論，從古典時期到文藝復興，一直到十九世紀。討論的重點在於從當今的理論視野、以及戲劇實踐兩方面，來重新檢視過去影響甚巨的戲劇學說。 |

課程目標 |
本課希望學生能從當代的視角來審視過去的理論。晚近關於戲劇的理論呈現多元狀態，且已跳脫領域的限制，從而使得過去的戲劇學說較少人提及。因此本課希望在新舊對照之下，讓學生對於西方戲劇理論的發展具有歷史視野。 |
